A new school year brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow and succeed. To help students get ready for the months ahead, Wilhelmsen Marine Personnel (Philippines), Inc. distributed more than 5,800 school supplies to students from kindergarten to college through its annual back-to-school community initiative.

For many families, the start of a new school year comes with added expenses as they prepare children for the classroom. Through this initiative, students received essential learning materials ranging from notebooks and writing supplies to other classroom necessities, helping ensure they are ready to begin the academic year equipped for learning.

Students and families received school supplies to help them prepare for the upcoming school year.

More than the distribution of school supplies, the initiative is about supporting students as they take the next step in their educational journey. As General Manager Artemio Serafico shared, "A simple but meaningful effort to spark learning at a time when access to education and literacy remains a challenge for many families."

Behind every donation was a team of employees who gave their time to organise, pack and distribute the supplies. Their dedication helped turn a simple donation drive into a community effort, bringing together colleagues, families and the wider community in support of education.
