Wilhelmsen group increases stake in NorSea Group
Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding Invest AS (WWHI), a fully owned subsidiary of Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA (WWH), raises its shareholding in NorSea Group AS (NSG) from 35.4% to 40%. The share increase follows a share issue in the company whereby NSG buys Danbor AS from A.P. Møller Mærsk AS.

Results for the fourth quarter 2013
The fourth quarter saw a positive growth in volumes transported deep sea and continued growth in the top line for the group’s maritime services segment. The prospects for the first quarter of 2014 are broadly in line with the activity level in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Results for second quarter 2015
Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA group (WWH) reported a flat top line in the second quarter of 2015, mainly influenced by reduced income from Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA (WWASA) and Wilhelmsen Maritime Services (WMS).Seasonality and a continued strong USD positively impacted the underlying operating profit.

Despite a slight decrease in total income driven by seasonally lower demand for seaborne transportation, the strong USD and reduced costs had a positive effect on WWH’s operating profit. An increase in the group’s activity level is expected for the second quarter.
