Aktiv mot kreft – Pusterommet

The goal for "Aktiv mot kreft" is to focus on physical activity as a part of cancer treatment. The organization is working on establishing fitness centers, “Pusterom”, in Norwegian hospitals. At the “Pusterom” cancer patients receive training and guidance from professionals, in a social and pleasant environment, during and after treatment. The “Pusterom” is also a meeting place and social arena for patients in the same situation.

«With the establishment of 'Pusterommet' in the fall of 2022, the cancer patients at Lovisenberg hospital will receive an even better treatment offer.  All patients will then have access to specialised training activities before, during, and after treatment, which is important in order to acheive the best possible treatment result and quality of life.
