Muriatic Acid 33% OR Hydrochloric acid 33% is a concentrated hydrochloric acid solution intended for suitable cleaning applications in bulk carrier cargo holds. Its acidic properties help dissolve and remove acid-soluble inorganic deposits, mineral scale and rust stains from compatible surfaces. It is particularly suited to applications where an economical or cost-conscious acid-cleaning solution is required. Hydrochloric acid is highly corrosive and may attack metals, damage certain coatings and generate hazardous fumes. Use only under an approved cleaning procedure, with appropriate PPE and safety controls.
