Cruise Expedition Fleet - Staff Captain

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant experience as Staff Captain onboard passenger vessel operating in the expedition segment.
• Experience from vessels operating in polar waters.
• Solid ship handling experience.
• Valid Master Unlimited CoC and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended.
• CoP in Advanced training for ships operating in polar waters and ice navigation watchkeeping experience.
• Good knowledge about maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC, ISM, ISPS).
• Good knowledge of passenger vessel safety and maintenance.
• Great communication and training skills.
• Good reporting knowledge skills.
• Fluent command in English.
• Great interpersonal skills and good team leading ability.
• Good references.

Beneficial experiences:

• Experience in sailing under NIS flag.
• Experience from new built and/or site team or project work.
• Background from luxury cruise segment.
• USCG and USPH knowledge and experience.
• USCG, USPH knowledge.
• IAATO, AECO knowledge.
• Experience with small watercrafts.
