Hakon Lenz is the Chief Operating Officer of Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM)

Before being appointed as COO, Hakon was the Vice President Manager Region Europe and US of WSM. A naval architect by education, Hakon brings in a vast experience of from class society and technical ship management. He joined WSM in 2008 as the General Manager of WSM Norway to eventually overseeing the entire operations in Europe and USA.

Today, Hakon oversees the global operations of WSM for all management centers in 8 countries - Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Norway, Germany, Netherlands, Greece, and USA. Hakon is also responsible for crew recruitment and retention. He oversees the operations of the global crewing network of 10 manning offices in 10 countries.

Hakon is currently based in Norway.
