Anette Bjerke Hoey joined Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) in 2019 as the Vice President for Marine Personnel. She is currently overseeing the global manning network of WSM and leads WSM’s internal training center - International Maritime Training Center (IMTC) based in India which aims to increase the competency of the seafarers.

Anette’s career and expertise are built on her almost two decades of experience in the maritime industry. Prior to joining Wilhelmsen Ship Management, Anette was the Senior Vice President for Marine and Technical at Seadream Yacht Club AS, Norway where she prepared the organization for future challenges while managing the fleet's marine and technical operations. Throughout her career, Anette has held several leadership roles at different cruise liner companies such as Hurtigruten and Carnival Maritime. 

Her passion for people, cultural change and business improvement has been the driver for Anette’s professional development. Her ability to combine business understanding and building trust with internal and external stakeholders has given her the opportunity to influence people’s behavior and achieve the overall goals of the company. Her contributions to the industry placed her among the Top 100 Young Leaders in Norway in 2015 by E24 and Boyden executive search.

Anette holds a Master's degree  in Science in Industrial Economics and Technology Management and Master Thesis in Operations Research: Optimizing Ship Routes from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway.
