The distinctive white blue TIMM Chafe Guards PRO are high tenacity guards suitable for all types of synthetic ropes. OCIMF states that a rope's ability to "resist external abrasion damage may be improved by the addition of an abrasion resistant overall jacket". It will also "serve to protect from UV exposure".
TIMM Chafe Guards PRO can be easily installed and provide an instant defensive barrier against sharp surfaces and edges. The TIMM Chafe Guard PRO can also provide an extra protection against chemical and UV damages on the ropes.
