Navachlor 812 is a heavy duty water based alkaline tank cleaner that can effectively removes dye discoloration or stains.

For Cargo Holds:
NAVACHLOR 812 is extremely efficient to remove discolouration/stains and removal of stains after petcoke, coal, iron ores.
For Tank Cleaning:
NAVACHLOR 812 is extremely efficient to remove red and/or yellow dye discolouration/stains in cargo tanks in Tankers caused by carriage of dyed gasoline cargoes or red wine stains.
This product is not intended for the disinfection of water or surfaces.

Directions for use
Removal of various stains in Cargo Holds:
- Ensure that the surface of the cargo hold is DRY prior application
- Apply Navachlor 812 Sodium Hypochlorite by means of the chemical applicator on areas of the cargo holds still affected by stains
- To get best effect, the Sodium Hypochlorite should be used undiluted
- Leave the chemical (undiluted) to work on the stained spots for approx. 20-30 minutes
- Wash down preferred use fresh water not leaving salt on the surface.
Removal of Dye discolouration in Cargo Tanks:
- Make a 2% solution in seawater in one of the slop tanks. Usually 2% solution is sufficient Suggested water quantity: 30 – 50 tons depending upon ship size
- Re-circulate this solution in 3 cargo tanks over 6 hours. 1 solution is usually sufficient for 3 tanks. Suggested that recirculation should be carried out at ambient temperature, with a maximum temperature of 35oC.
- Rinse the tanks with either seawater or freshwater depending upon the next cargo.
