Share buybacks

Wilhelmsen will continue to use share buybacks as a tool to distribute value to shareholders. At the latest Annual General Meeting on 27 April 2023, the board was granted, on behalf of the company, an authorisation to acquire shares in the company with a nominal value of up to NOK 89,160,000, equivalent to 10% of the current share capital. The authority is normally granted on an annual basis, with certain limitations. Following completion of the latest buyback program in April 2024, Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA owns 826,300 own shares, split on 306,741 A-shares and 519,559 B-shares.

Information on latest share buyback programs and employee share programs:

In April 2024, the company announced a share buyback program from Tuesday 2 April at 09:00 to Thursday 4 April at 16:30.  Following the end of the application period, the company resolved to buy 20,441 A-shares and 419,559 B-shares. Following completion of the April 2024 buyback program, Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA owns 826,300 own shares, split on 306,741 A-shares and 519,559 B-shares.

In September 2023, the company conducted a share program for employees. A total of 350 employees participated in the program, buying a total of 13,700 A-shares from the company. Following completion of the 2023 employee share program, Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA owned 386,300 own shares, split on 286,300 A-shares and 100,000 B-shares.

In May 2023, the company conducted a share buyback program from Wednesday 10 May at 09:00 to Friday 12 May at 16:30. Following completion of the May 2023 buyback program, Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA owned a total of 400,000 own shares, split on 300,000 A-shares and 100,000 B-shares.

In 2019, the company conducted a share buyback program from Tuesday 24 September at 09:00 to Thursday 26 September at 16:30. Following completion of the program, Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA owned a total of 1,823,824 own shares, split on 537,092 A-shares and 1,286,732 B-shares. The shares were cancelled through a capital reduction completed on 7 September 2021.
