Shipowner Tom Wilhelmsen's Foundation – Due Diligence Assessment Report
Updated
The Act on Transparency and Work with Fundamental Human Rights and Decent Working Conditions by Businesses (of 18 June 2021 No. 99) (the “Transparency Act”) aims to promote businesses’ respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and the provision of services, and to ensure the public has access to information about how businesses handle negative consequences for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.
Pursuant to Section 4 of the Act, relevant businesses shall conduct due diligence assessments in line with the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Section 5 of the Act further requires businesses to publish an annual report on due diligence assessments conducted.
Below is a report on due diligence assessments conducted by Shipowner Tom Wilhelmsen's Foundation (“TWS”) for the accounting period 1 January to 31 December 2024.
