Water sampling off Pulau Seletar.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore in the Port Maritime Notice No. 002 of 2022 informs about the water sampling off Pulau Seletar.

From the 4th of January to the 3rd of July 2022, the working area will be bounded by the following coordinates:
1) 01 ̊ 26.161' N 103 ̊ 51.747' E;
2) 01 ̊ 26.178' N 103 ̊ 51.782' E;
3) 01 ̊ 26.137' N 103 ̊ 51.812' E;
4) 01 ̊ 26.115' N 103 ̊ 51.775' E.

Working Hours: 0700hrs to 1800hrs daily, including Sundays and Public Holidays.

The water samplings will be carried out using floating devices anchored to the seabed. Work boats will be used to position these devices. A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft to keep clear of the area during the installation of the floating devices.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the work area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
