Dredging works at Sembawang Wharves.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore in the Port Maritime Notice No. 046 of 2021 informs about the dredging works at Sembawang Wharves.

From the 7th of June to the 6th of December 2021, the working area will be bounded by the following coordinates:
a) 01° 27.850' N 103° 50.117' E,
b) 01° 27.742' N 103° 50.056' E,
c) 01° 27.671' N 103° 50.016' E,
d) 01° 27.599' N 103° 49.975' E,
e) 01° 27.631' N 103° 49.918' E,
f) 01° 27.710' N 103° 49.963' E,
g) 01° 27.774' N 103° 49.999' E,
h) 01° 27.883' N 103° 50.061' E,
i) 01° 27.874' N 103° 50.075' E,
j) 01° 27.858' N 103° 50.103' E.

Working hours: 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.

Dredging works will be carried out by grab dredgers with spud system supported by hopper barges, tugs and work boats.

A safety boat will be in attendance to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear of the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and to navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21(Sembawang Control);
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
