Marine Soil Investigation Works Off Jurong Terminal

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore in the Port Maritime Notice No. 065 of 2020 informs about the marine soil investigation works off Jurong Terminal.

From the 5th of October to the 31st of December 2020, works will be carried out at the Jurong terminal (Berth J9), at the following coordinates:
1) J9-M1 - 1°18.355' N, 103°43.118' E,
2) J9-M2 - 1°18.337' N, 103°43.139' E,
3) J9-M3 - 1°18.320' N, 103°43.160' E,
4) J9-M4 - 1°18.303' N, 103°43.180' E.

Working hours: 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.

A jack-up barge and tugboat will be used to carry out the marine soil investigation work. A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity of the working area to warn other vessels of the work.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 25 (Pasir Panjang Control);
e) Communicate with Pasir Panjang Control for assistance, if required.
