We advocate for a safe and sustainable environment so it is not surprising for us to offer green recycling solutions to ships and rigs.
The 2009 Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships aims to ensure that ships, when recycled, do not pose any unnecessary risks to human health, safety or to the environment. Norway was the first country to sign the convention and our policy is to ensure all vessels are dismantled according to the Convention – with class certified IHM. The EU Ship Recycling Regulation 2013 mandates that vessels bound for recycling must only go to approved facilities.
We only use audited and approved shipyards and have no financial stake with anyone to remain neutral and in control of ship recycling from the owners perspective.

We strongly believe in vessel preservation and maintenance during lay-up. This is essential to ensure vessel performance is optimal when reactivated.
