KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602 is an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant (EAL) designed to protect your open gears and steel cables. Strongly adhesive, water-resistant, and anti-corrosive.

Product information
Open gears and steel cables in the offshore and maritime industry are regularly subject to challenging conditions like powerful vibrations, high-dust environments, or prolonged exposure to seawater. KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602, composed of ester oil and select anti-corrosive additives, protects your gears and cables from the damage these conditions may cause.
By shielding your components from corrosion and wear, KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602 extends their service lives, helping you save on maintenance and even replacement costs. Expect to enjoy longer intervals between needing to relubricate your machine parts.
Moreover, KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602 boasts good adhesive strength and water resistance, reducing the risk of drip offs that could contaminate your deck or goods.
To meet the shipping industry's increasing needs for sustainable solutions, KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602 offers a composition of over 60% renewable raw materials. This means the environmental impact in the event of a spillage or discharge is reduced.
Importantly, KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602 fulfils the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s requirements for biodegradability, non-bioaccumulation and non-toxicity to be classified as an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant (EAL).

Directions for use
KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602 is appropriate to use as lubrication for open pinion gears on winches and jack-up platforms as well as steel cables in contact with water.
It can also be used in other maritime applications that require lubricants with good water washout resistance, excellent anti-corrosion properties, and/or good load-carrying capacity.
Apply KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602 continuously with the transfer lubrication method (with pinion) or by a brush. For steel cables, use compressed-air lubrication equipment.
Note that the colour of KLÜBERBIO AG 39-602 changes to red under UV radiation; but this does not affect the lubricant's performance.
