Carl Schou joined the Wilhelmsen group in 2005 as Crew Manager and worked his way to become President of WSM from 2008. With his seafaring background and maritime knowledge, Carl is opinionated and has sharp eye for industrial changes.

Kenny Lee is responsible for maintaining the happiness index of WSM’s onshore staff. Taking care of employees’ wellbeing is his priority to retain our prized asset – our people. He is passionate in developing human capital for the maritime industry and leads the maritime trainee project in WSM Asia.

Haakon Lenz


Vice President - Region Europe & Americas, WSM


Haakon Lenz has more than 30 years of maritime experience. He leads WSM’s offshore wind initiative in Europe and has in-depth knowledge on complex offshore assets. Haakon feels that renewable energy is the way to go for the sustainable future of the maritime sector.

Paal Gunnulfsen


Vice President - Region Asia, WSM


Paal Gunnulfsen is WSM’s resident expert in gas-related fleet management. His background in marine engineering, naval architecture and LNG vessel management allows him to pick up trends in gas movements.

Christina Cheh


Vice President - Risk Management & Systems, WSM


Christina Cheh has been with the Wilhelmsen Group for close to 30 years. Christina’s sailing experiences before coming on shore provides insight to operate and manage ships with HSEQ excellence. She is also one of the key person to bring digitalization into ship/shore reporting processes.

John Beck leads WSM’s procurement team with a vision to continuously improve and simplify the procurement experience for clients and vendors. John has 30 years of experience in procurement management. John believes that technology and transparency should work hand-in-hand for seamless purchase and supply process.
