6 Oct'16: Local Saudi Immigration operating out of the Port of Yanbu, has suspended crew changes for all vessels with immediate effect. 6 Oct'16: General cargo operations to commence at Hamad Port, Qatar. The Ministry of Transport and Communications announced to redirect dry (bagged) & general cargo vessels traffic, from Doha Port to Hamad Port as of 15 October 2016. Therefore, the Ministry is completing project stages, according to the schedule dates. Doha Port will handle only cruise vessels traffic and yachts.
