Swedegas to invest in new LNG infrastructure at the Port of Gothenburg.

In order to suffice shipping industry need for more air and environment friendly fuel, Swedish company has decided to build first LNG facility in Gothenburg, allowing ships to bunker LNG at the quayside during loading or discharging operations. The project involves construction of discharge station, a cryogenic pipeline and bunkering equipments. The LNG facility is expected to be operational in 2018.
