Unitor Local Application Fire Fighting System

Effective solution against machinery fires
Unitor Local Application Fire Fighting System ( Unitor LAFF System) is a low pressure water based system, approved for use as a local fire protection system for high risk machinery spaces. The system effectively protects the space and machinery by contianing and extinguishing fires at their earliest stage. From a  operational aspect, the water based system is a cost effective and safe alternative.

The system effectively protects the high risk areas using low pressure water. Employing specialised water spray nozzles, water pump, low pressure piping and distribution valves, the system effectively put out machinery fires at their earliest stage. It can be applied without the requirement to shutdown the machinery, evacuate personnel or isolation of the space.

Unitor LAFF System is designed as local fire protection system for high risk machinery spaces to protect machinery. It is installed in addition to a total flooding system, and is designed to control or extinguish fires before the total flooding system is activated.

The system components can be delivered as individual items, or installed on skid units, reducing installation time and cost. The use of standardised components ensures easy servicing and spare parts availability to keep maintenance cost to a minimum.
