Approaching zero NOx emissions
NOxCare Marine offers an efficient means of reducing up to 99% of NOx emissions from your vessel.
The system is based on Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and a catalyst together with NOxCare 40 Marine, a high purity urea water solution, to reduce NOx emissions from your vessel. SCR is the only presently available technology able to fulfil the new Tier III IMO regulations.
The system is installed between the engine and the exhaust outlet. The exhaust gas passes through the catalyst where the NOx is converted into harmless nitrogen and water. It is applicable to all vessel types, for both new builds and retrofits.
