The work will be done at Cityvarvet in Gothenburg from September – November 2010. Total value of the work is estimated at EUR 1 mill.
The Germanica is being converted for operation in trades that require greater cargo space. The electrical work consists of engineering and installations including lighting equipment and fixtures, fire detection systems, radar navigation, PA system and a large elevator conversion, including new automation system and rebuilding the cabin. The HVAC component is a turnkey delivery of two new air handling units with duct systems and two new ventilation fans to serve the cargo hold area. The job will require a substantial number of man-hours.
