There were several different onboard systems, with individual structural configurations, covering everything from propulsion systems to navigational equipment on the bridge.

Wilhelmsen Marine Engineering was responsible for the electrical, marine automation, navigation and communication systems and their adaptation to Coast Guard needs, plus coordination and integration of the remaining systems.
