The MRD4S-2L gas leak monitors and sensors utilise the semi-conductor principle without any moving parts.  These semi-conductors are inexpensive, stable and long-lasting and can be used to detect a large range of gases, including all the CFC, HCFC, HFC refrigerants and hydrocarbons (special sensors for Ammonia available on request),.

Semi-conductors for halocarbons may be used to detect more than one gas or a mixture of gases simultaneously. This is particularly useful in monitoring a plant room with a number of different refrigerants.

This kit includes a 4 channel monitor** with one sensor per channel.  The alarm system has two levels.

If low concentrations or intermittent leaks are detected, the system goes into alarm mode, but resets itself once the atmosphere is clear.

High concentrations require the alarm to be manually reset by the operator after the leak has been identified and rectified, using the hand held electronic leak detector (Unitor UNIRX-1A, Part No 716142)
