EVAPORATOR PRESSURE REGULATORS

EPR valves are installed on evaporator outlets to maintain the evaporator pressure at a constant level.  They are normally used on high temperature applications, preventing evaporator ice up, eliminating the need for defrosting.

They control the temperature difference between the evaporator and the product temperature as small as possible to prevent product degradation
