Minimum dosage is 1.2 litres of Autotreat/ton of boiler capacity to reach a P-Alkalinity level of 100 ppm. For an untreated system it is recommended to initially bring the treatment up to a suitable level of 200 ppm p-Alkalinity. The dosage chart given below is for convenience to determine the amount of product required to elevate P-Alkalinity. Note that the table is based on reaching 200 ppm. P-Alkalinity.
* as ppm CaCO3
These are recommended values based on experience, and are in no way intended to replace the boiler manufacturers specifications, or company regulations.
Our recommended control limits are:
• p-Alkalinity: 100-300 ppm as CaCO3.
• Chlorides: 200 ppm Cl max.
• Condensate pH 8.3-9.0.
Excessive Chlorides are removed by blowdown.
