Unicool R-410A is our recommended refrigerant for new systems.

An excellent all round refrigerant, suitable across the range of temperatures.  It is 50% more efficient than R22, which means that systems designed for the same output need much less refrigerant charge in them compared to R22.  Ideal design of system is to have this product as the primary refrigrant and have secondary refrigerant (like Hycool Marine) circulating around the required areas.

Due to much higher working pressures, it requires stainless pipes.
