• Avoid air in the system:

The system should allow for de-aeration.  Micro-bubble de-aerators should be mounted at both the highest and warmest points.  The system should also always work with a positive pressure

•  Material compatibility:

HYCOOL MARINE 45 is compatible with a wide range of commonly used metals and polymers

The following materials are NOT COMPATIBLE and should be avoided:

1. Galvanized steel
2. Zinc
3. Tin solder (soft solder)
4. FPM Fluorocarbon rubber (Viton rubber).

• Spillage:

In case HYCOOL MARINE 45 is spilt on a metal surface, it must be wiped up immediately with a wet cloth or rinsed off with water.

On galvanized steel, HYCOOL MARINE 45 may damage the surface and discolour the material.

A blue residue can appear if HYCOOL MARINE 45 is spilt on copper materials.

HYCOOL MARINE 45 is completely biodegradable and has neither any Ozone Depleting Potential nor Global Warming Potential. It is non-flammable and non-toxic and can be used in freezing, cooling and heating applications.
