This project involved the collection ex-works, yard handling, container packing and shipment of 40 foot open-top and flat-rack containers including out-of-gauge shipments from Bahrain to sites located in SE Asia. The project was spread out over a period of 12 months.
This is the first project of its kind handled by the Wilhelmsen Ships Service team in Bahrain. The project as a whole was hailed as a success by DBS Singapore, which was largely due to the commitment and dedication shown by the staff involved. DB Schenker recognised the success by presenting Wilhelmsen Ships Service with a handsome crystal award.
