MV Prometheus Leader was taken over on management by Wilhelmsen Ship Management Malaysia on March 26, 2008.
Prometheus Leader, a new built PCTC, has a standard car capacity of 3,305 units or RT43 cars capacity of 3,911 units. She took her maiden voyage after casting off lines at shipyard at 1515 JST on March 26 with Wilhemsen Ship Management onboard to load at Japan ports and thereafter sailed for Panama Canal / Carribean ports.
