African Worker was taken over from the owner at the PT Jaya Asiatic Shipyard in Batam, Indonesia at 15.25 hrs LT on 11th December 2009. The barge is flying Cyprus flag.
African Worker is now being taken under tow to Angola where she will accommodate offshore workers on a 3-year contract. She is expected to arrive Angola late January 2010 where the full crew comprise of Croatians and Angolans officers and ratings will join.
