SOS Children’s Villages is the world’s largest humanitarian organisation for orphaned and neglected children. They run more than 470 villages in 132 countries. The organisation gives the children in the villages a safe home and helps them shape their own future. In addition they prevent children being left alone by supporting exposed families as well as contributing to the development of local communities.
The organisation is political and religiously neutral, and works independent of nationality, culture and religion.
On 30 September 2010, a new SOS Children’s Village was opened in Bataan, Philippines.
How can we make a difference?
We want to contribute to international organisations with similar values that work long-term in communities where we have business activities.
We have chosen to enter into a partnership with SOS Children’s Villages and to direct our support to the new children’s village in Bataan, Philippines. We believe that our support will help contribute to a better future for the children and the country in which they live.
