“We are pleased to have concluded the agreement. Our core business is within the maritime industry, and in the current tight financial market this represents a favourable long term financing,” says Nils Petter Dyvik, group CFO at Wilh. Wilhelmsen.
The transaction is based on a property value of NOK 522.3 million.
Wilh. Wilhelmsen moved to Strandveien 20 outside Oslo in 1995. The nearly 20 000 sq metres building was designed by Arcasa Arkitekter for Wilh. Wilhelmsen and has several maritime features. The lease back agreement reflects the group’s intention to maintain the group’s head office at its present location at Strandveien 20.
