The second place was a tie between Wilh. Wilhelmsen and the Norwegian Army with Vinmonopolet in third place. There being no gold winner this year, the Norwegian Army and Wilh. Wilhelmsen may both rightly feel like Winners!
The Jury commended WW's consistent use of illustrations and daring design, all images being of WW employees with the objective to inspire ownership in the company and to focus on the employees as WWs primary resource. Wilh. Wilhelmsen also won the Silver Prize in 2001.

The Farmand Award is the most prestigious Norwegian award for Annual Reports, with traditions going back to 1955. The objective is to improve the quality of annual reports published by Norwegian companies.
The award is given out in five categories; Companies listed on the Norwegian Stock Exchange, Companies NOT listed on the Norwegian Stock Exchange, Public Enterprises, Best idea and design, and Best Internet website.
