Veum is an attorney-at-law, and has a master’s degree in law from the University of Bergen. He comes from the position as lawyer/group tax manager in Telenor ASA.
Harry A Veum has earlier worked in The Central Tax Office for Large Companies, Andersen Legal, The Norwegian Shipowners’ Association and The Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry. He was also a member of the Committee for Norwegian Special Tax Regime for Shipping Companies appointed by the Norwegian Government.
Harry A Veum will take up his new responsibilities as of 1 September 2006. He will report direct to the chief financial officer in WW ASA.
