Dag Schjerven, holding a Master of Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Management, will assume his position 1 October 2004.
Dag has 25 years experience from international business including various positions with Dyno ASA, a Norwegian chemical corporation. His latest assignment was with ASSA ABLOY, the worlds leading locking company, where he was responsible for the hotel security business, including VingCard and Elsafe.
Bjørn Tønsberg, President for Barwil assumes the position as Chief Operating Officer and deputy to the President for the new company.
Svein Sørlie, President of Barber International, announced some time ago his wish to step down from his position. Svein Sørlie will from now on be working with business development issues closely connected to the office of the President & GCEO of Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA.
However, Mr. Sørlie will also assist the new company in the amalgamation process.
