WW World 4-2008

In this issue we present a rich diversity of stories, both geograpichally and from various parts of the group.

The Special theme in this issue is "Life at Sea," where we present three exciting features off-shore. Our reporter Stacy Trodal lived on board MV Tortugas for several days enroute from Singapore to Sri Lanka - read her report and meet the crew.

Worth reading is also our feature on the WSM managed ship "Nexans Skagerrak," at work laying cable in the Sea of Japan. And don't miss the piece about how Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics are masters at handling large and difficult cargo.

There are also interesting people to meet, from Thomas Wilhelmsen, currently group vice president for shipping in WW and fifth generation owner  to Kirsten Haune, group vice president for HR, a culture bearer and "hockey mom."

Meet also Olga Tsiamourou, a young talent from Cyprus and Frangiskos Iglessis, sales engineer for WSS in the port of Piraeus.

We have also visited Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, which will be the new head office for Wilhelmsen Ship Management in 2009. We also have features from Shanghai and South-Africa as well as news from the innovation and human resources scenes in Norway. There is a lot to read, and we hope you enjoy it. Your feedback and tips are welcomed and appreciated.
