Innovation management

An international part-time management programme at master degree level. The programme Innovation Management in the Global Knowledge Economy is developed together with BI Norwegian School of Management.

1. Purpose and Objective
This programme seeks to enhance knowledge on innovation and strategy;  to develop skills in project development; to present industry best practice, and to be an arena for networking across the maritime industry with our partners.

Our aim is to:
Create a common approach to innovation that leads to better and smarter solutions and reduced time to market.

2. Scope and Content
We learn by studying the maritime clusters and innovation in Scandinavia and Asia. Prominent academics and business leaders from well-known companies will present common challenges and what it takes to successfully develop and implement innovation projects.

This programme includes various external and internal speakers and lecturers. There will be a strong effort to combine lectures, group work, project work, company visits, formal discussions, informal networking events and self study.

The programme is conducted through four modules, two in Norway and two in Asia and is managed by BI - Norwegian School of Management.

3. Target Group
